
Comparative Skull Drawing

In this lesson, the Mütter Museum will share a step-by-step approach to create a drawing from images of real human skulls in their famous Hyrtl Skull Collection. We will discuss how art and medicine can be used in complementary ways, identify differences in the skulls. We’ll also learn about Dr. Hyrtl, why he collected the skulls, what his collection accomplished, and how it is still being used today. This program is open to adults (ages 18+), and registration is required.
