On the Same Page: Master Slave Husband Wife

Every other month, adult patrons read and discuss the same book. This month, we’re reading Master Slave Husband Wife: An Epic Journey from Slavery to Freedom by Ilyon Woo.

This book tells the true story of Ellen and William Craft, who escaped slavery in disguise, with Ellen passing as a wealthy, white man and William posing as her slave.
